Some businesses are happy with a PayPal shopping solution whereas others need a full-blown e-commerce package like Magento with Sage Pay or similar. Artists and makers can use services like Ravelry and Etsy to sell their products.
Much of our e-commerce experience has come using the ‘Magento’ e-commerce system – for larger websites – and more recently ‘Woo-commerce’ – for smaller numbers of products. We use ‘MailChimp’ and ‘MarketMailer’ for mailing list marketing which is an essential part of e-commerce. We use Google Analytics for all web projects.
